With Christina Paolucci and Terry Duncan of New York Theatre Ballet
The Director of Dance at County College of Morris in New Jersey, Mr. Duncan is a former principle dancer with New York Theatre Ballet (1996-2010). He has also been on faculty with Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts and was the Co-Director at Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance after receiving his graduate degree from Florida State. Julliard graduate, Ms. Paolucci performed lead roles with New York Theatre Ballet all over the United States. She went on to become the Associate Director of Tallahassee Ballet and the former Executive Director of New York Theater Ballet. She is certified in both Progressive Ballet Technique and Stretch Source. Dancers will learn Ballet Technique, Progressive Ballet Technique, Modern, Variations, Partnering, and Repertoire culminating in a performance on Friday showcasing their hard work.
Progressing Ballet Technique is an innovative program for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet. The use of a fit ball during class improves students understanding of core stability, weight placement, alignment.
